In our worship service this week, we celebrate the Transfiguration, the moment high on a mountaintop when Christ revealed Himself in all of His glory to his closest followers. The Transfiguration is a foretaste of the glory of Resurrection, a revelation of Jesus’ divinity that had been hidden, but was no less real.
In our message, we celebrate that there will always be a majesty and mystery in Jesus Christ for He is so much more than we can ever possibly imagine. And we also find some hope; reassurance that although our journeys may not always be easy, God is always working to mold us into the image of Christ if we just let him.
I hope that you will join us as we prepare for the Holy Season of Lent, which begins this Wednesday.
