Pastor John

Pastor John Mylecraine is a humble servant of God, blessed to accept the undeserved Grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He is a lifelong United Methodist who answered a long-deferred call to ministry in 2020 and he became the Pastor of Black Creek UMC in July, 2024.  He is on the tail end of a career in public education, having spent a couple of decades as a special education teacher and a school administrator.

He is blessed to serve the Lord alongside his wife, Sheena, who is a wonderful support in all of his ministries.  He has two sons, Henry (14) and Jack (12), who bring joy to everyone they meet, but who couldn’t be more different.  He also has a poorly behaved dog named Daisy. Pastor John has a passion for sharing the Word and guiding others on their walks with Jesus Christ.

Pastor John preaches messages that are grounded in the Word, but can also be easily applied to everyday life.
