This Sunday is Laity Sunday.  On this special day, throughout the United Methodist Church, we celebrate the vital role of lay people—the everyday people who live out their faith and serve in local churches and communities.

On this day, we honor the faithfulness, leadership, and service of laypersons who help build and sustain the life and mission of the church. We recognize that ministry is not just the work of clergy but the shared calling of all believers.

So we are going to have a whole lot of people participate in worship!  In place of a sermon, we will have our lay members read 5 monologues from Monologues that Minister (lic. # 5134564) as we all work to move closer to Christ on this blessed morning.
