This week, we have a busy week in church!  We will be celebrating a baptism, our choir will be offering praise to God in song, and our VBS kids will be sharing some songs that they have learned during our exciting week of VBS! 

With all of that, our message will be short, and we will take a quick break from our sermon series on Elijah and Elisha.  Instead, as we celebrate a baptism in our church today, we will look at Christ’s baptism as recounted in the Gospel of Mark, and we will embrace the idea that baptism in our United Methodist Church is humble yet glorious!
